BES address book

There's no need to do this. If users have contact synch set up on their client to synch their address book with their mailfile then the BES will pick up the contacts

On the replication page there's a synchronize contacts option, and replication needs to be set up on their client. I believe this is now the default anyway (not sure about this though)

The PIM synch on the BES then can just point to the mailfile
